In recent years, the largest conservative state in the nation has led the way economically, and socially… but now they’re taking steps to lead the way in law and order.
Early Thursday morning, around 3am, Texas state legislators finally voted to approve a bill that would defund sanctuary counties, cities, and localities and could lead to Texas becoming the first state to end the scourge of sanctuary cities.
I’m still holding out for California to hold that honor.
I guess I should have added the customary LOL. However most NorCal Sheriffs are on record saying they will. It support the sanctuary state.
Now if it doesn’t get held up by some barky
appointed federal judge.

Much of Texas likes the law to ban sanctuary cities with the exception of the big sanctuary cities, of course. The law will not be appealed in the 9th Circuit but it will be a fight more than likely. D’s never go quietly .
