COLLIN COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – With so many licensed owners gun accidents aren’t unusual in the state of Texas, but having a person injured after their dog opens fire on them… that’s something new.
A North Texas man is recovering after his 4-legged friend shot his gun.
According to police, the shooting happened recently in Plano when the unidentified man picked up his dog while wearing a pistol tucked in his waistband. more
20 to 1 another case of Glock Perfection
Lucky dude.Could have been the privates.
I’m guessing this wasn’t ‘Deputy Dawg’.
Maybe with a Glock, but not with that 1911 in the picture with the grip safety. If you’re stupid, don’t buy a Glock
Gee, I wonder if this would have happened if the guy’s pistol had an actual safety switch/lever instead of a trigger with that little fiddly bit sticking out front?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know all about the arguments pro/con about pistol safeties. But if you’re simply stuffing your gat in your waistband, you need a gat with a safety. Uhh, you also need to work on your judgment.
Possibly one more good argument for a decent holster….
At least he didn’t hit Johnson.
lol he probably has a horse named Trigger.
I agree with Brad. The stupid need to stay away from Glocks.
And guns.
I have NO sympathy for any dumbfux that jam a handgun down their pants, unless it’s an uncocked single action revolver, they’re just trying to look MACHO…but that can be hard to do after you shoot your dick off!
The dog pulled my trigger, yep that does sound better.
And of course there was the dog who walked into a bar, he was looking for the man who shot his Pa.
Karma for buying cheap low nutrition dog food?
My friend’s daughter-in-law wanted me to assemble and “brief” her on the handling of her husband’s glock…. I refused on the grounds that I would be responsible. I tell all people inquiring, that gun ownership does not equal skills…..
Wait a minute, “licensed gun owners” in Texas??? Since when?
” I tell all people inquiring, that gun ownership does not equal skills…..”
Owning a weapon doesn’t make you armed anymore than owning a guitar makes you a musician.
And Glocks need a fucking positive safety. Which they don’t have.
Being proficient with a firearm, and safe, is an acquired skill, it’s also a perishable one. Glocks are amazingly simple. If you put your finger on that trigger and pull it, it’s going off. I’ve changed my opinion on recommending Glocks to new shooters because they are so simplistic. By the way, there are one hell of a lot of Glock clones out there these days. Some manufactured by Sig.
