Texas: Social Worker Hit With 134 Felony Fraud-Related Counts for Trying to Vote on Behalf of the Disabled

Red State: It’s a turbulent time, and as America sits on the edge of its seat, accusations of misconduct abound.

Amid the turmoil, an incredible act of alleged election impropriety occurred in Texas.

On Friday, state officials announced they’ve charged a social worker with 134 felony counts of election fraud and acting as an agent.

Per a statement at TexasAttorneyGeneral.gov, the matter regarded, it seems, the nursing home where she worked:

Attorney General Ken Paxton today announced that his Election Fraud Unit assisted the Limestone County Sheriff and District Attorney in charging Kelly Reagan Brunner, a social worker in the Mexia State Supported Living Center (SSLC), with 134 felony counts of purportedly acting as an agent and of election fraud. State Supported Living Centers serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Brunner submitted voter registration applications for 67 residents without their signature or effective consent, while purporting to act as their agent.

Therefore, if true, not only were illegal ballots cast, but the developmentally disabled were victimized along the way.

And the news release makes clear several of the individuals misrepresented aren’t even allowed to legally vote: more here

  1. She was just doing her duty as a community organizer and social justice warrior to help the poor and oppressed voters who couldn’t vote on their own you know. They needed her help and she was glad to oblige and was probably paid under the table to do it as well. This is why I’m not a social worker, I hate political correctness.

  2. I got a call yesterday from some jackass saying that he was from the Social Security Admin. telling me that if I didn’t answer their plea about “My supposed Social Security fraud”, I could be fined heavily and go to jail. My daughter also got a similar call and she’s only 32, I hung up on them because this is obviously a total scam trying to intimidate and scare me and other older and vulnerable citizens, I hate these bastards who pry on gullible and scare people into believing their lies and BS.

  3. That would make her older than my paternal grandfather who was born in 1895 and died in 1967. I doubt seriously that he voted from his grave in the Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho cemetery, he may have been an FDR democrat but wouldn’t be now if could come back from his grave. My other grandfather was born in 1888 and died in 1961 and was a lifelong farmer and Republican.
