    Someone should’ve tossed a lifeline to the poor woman though. They could’ve given her an example she understands.

    Suppose the local drug lord drops off a bag of cash at your door as payment for you pulling drug patrols from certain parts of the city. You share that cash with your asst. commanders who then pass some cash on to the affected precinct captains. That’s chain of command.

    Drug lords => Dirty police chief => Dirty police asst. chiefs => Dirty precinct captains.

  10. …chain-of-command is pretty much a Day 1 kind of thing in any military or paramilitary service, not only so easily comprehensible that everyone from the greenest probationary on an Oklahoma voulenteer fire brigade to the Commander-In-Chief of the United States Armed Forces can comprehend it in seconds, and so fundamental that 8yo boys playing “army” in the backyard with cap guns instinctively form and follow hierarchies when one is chosen “general” and the others follow his lead.

    Its something that, if you can rise in the ranks without knowing that there ARE ranks, you are either terminally stupid or willfully ignorant.

    The question is, “Who do you take orders from?”. If you cant answer THAT, you have no business in command of anything other than your own bowel movements…

  20. Wow. All the DEI DC/MPD Chief of Police had to say was she answers to the mayor, then let the mayor elaborate as she did. The DC/MPD CP also a so-called Baptist minister who should instinctly already know what chain of command means – starting with God. Clearly she’s reprobate and stupid. She advocates for LGBTQ as well. There’s no end to Demwit hypocrisy.
