Exactly how I felt when I bought a GEO Metro back in 91. Was a good car though and was doing a lot of driving back then. Put 92,000 miles on it in two years with zero mechanical problems. Almost 50 mpg.

We had a salesman who drove a Metro (don’t know what year) and he put something like 180,000 miles on it! He said it was a very reliable car, perfect for driving around town which is what he did all day for like 10 years.

I bought one brand new in ’92
Put 92K on it in three years. It was a great vehicle. $6,229 out the door and that included Washington State Sales Taxes on it.
I drove it all over the western United States averaged 52mpg
