The grotesque sense of entitlement behind the end of temporary protected status

American Thinker-

The Washington Post has a heartrending headline that I’ve seen repeated endlessly by my aged, leftist high-school classmates: “Here legally since 1999, thousands of immigrants have 60 days to leave.” How dare the cruel Trump administration suddenly turn more than 50,000 people into criminals?

As always, though, there’s more to the story. In fact, these people were granted temporary protected status because of bad conditions in their homelands, with the understanding that, when conditions improved, back they’d go. It was always temporary. The left, of course, refuses to acknowledge that. Instead, both they and the immigrants have a singular lack of gratitude for the refuge offered.

Here’s what the WaPo has to say:

They are nurses, mechanics, sanitation workers and executives. They’ve fallen in love, bought houses and raised children. They’ve opened restaurants and construction companies, paid taxes and contributed to Social Security, living and working legally in the United States since 1999. more

  1. This could also be a tactic to persuade those who have entered illegally since then that they should leave if the U.S. gov’t is talking about ejecting others who have been here since the 1990s.

  2. The program was ostensibly designed to provide assistance to people in distress. I ashy ostensibly because given what we have seen, who knows?

What I do know as a stone cold natural fact is that the progressive/Marxist/Satanist movement is very good at recognizing “vulnerable populations.” I also know for sure and for certain that they are very adept at exploiting anyone and everyone they can get their hooks into to advance their own agenda. I have first hand experience with how they manipulate public opinion using sob stories that are frequently, perhaps even the majority of the time, full of exaggerations and false promises and have nothing whatsoever to do in practice with what they have presented.

The progressive/Marxist/Satanists are ruthless in their tactics and couldn’t care less about the individuals they exploit. Maybe 5-10% of the “vulnerable populations” are both without any resources AND benefit from the program that was sold. Most of the money, and by a wide margin, is laundered into the pockets of heads of NGOs, Non-profits and politicians. The Clinton Hati scam is N outstanding, but far from unique case.

This is a very lucrative money laundering operation and the media is definitely on the take, they get their share. They are going to be tugging hard at people’s heartstrings and some of that is authentic and legitimate.

What we are dealing with are absolutely the most vile, despicable, money and power grubbing pieces of shit on the planet. This is definitely going to result in people who are deserving being harmed, and that is a tragedy. What is going to be left out of all of the pity pieces is who is ultimately responsible and why.

  4. They can go back and get in line to immigrate legally. Of course, in U.S. eyes, they’re already criminals after their first attempt… so, good luck!

    Now, GTFO!
