Leah wrote about this earlier today, but there was a little break-in at Katie Hobbs’ campaign office. Hobbs, Arizona’s secretary of state and Democratic candidate for governor, accused Republican opponent Kari Lake of causing this unfortunate event.
In a statement released by Hobbs, she said, “Let’s be clear: for nearly two years Kari Lake and her allies have been spreading dangerous misinformation and inciting threats against anyone they see fit. The threats against Arizonans attempting to exercise their constitutional rights and their attacks on elected officials are the direct result of a concerted campaign of lies and intimidation.”
These are baseless accusations, which Lake slashed down with a katana, countering that Hobbs was weaponizing her office dust-up to gain political points. Not learning their lesson, the media asked Lake for a response, and the Republican gubernatorial candidate went to work, calling the incident “Jussie Smollett part two.” more
The Phoenix Police Department said it is investigating a burglary at Hobbs’s campaign headquarters….
IF an honest investigation is done, 💯 it’ll be Hobbs’ own ppl. I’ve seen too many fake nooses and swastikas to assume anything else.

They caught the guy. So why is it that my first reaction is that this is a classic dem false flag operation? Find some mope homeless guy and pay him some cash for the breakin. Create the appearance that Paul was somehow injured, seriously so (of course he will make a full recovery) and there is your two-headed narrative; Republicans are deranged and dangerous and that dems are undaunted and fearless in the face of evil, and will not be deterred from providing us a better world.
Of course, rehearsing his story was seminal, Trump made him do it. And this is California so no cash bail and no incarceration, win-win.
That’s obviously how to deal with the bastards. The reason you NEVER see this from the Republican establishment is because their “friends across the aisle” are their coconspirators in the progressive movement. Wake up and smell the coffee folks. I mean, what do you need a hand written invitation to recognize that the Republican establishment is not at all interested in serving the American people?
It wouldn’t surprise me one damn bit if the GOPe wasn’t in on it, or at least gave buy in on it. There is far more distance between Kari Lake, Ron DeSantis, Donald Trump etc & Constitutional conservatives and the Republican establishment than there is between the Republican establishment and the Democrats. In fact, in juxtaposition the former shrinks to insignificance.

DeSantis took in over $200M in donations for what has shaped up to be a runaway Gov’s race, over 90% of that from a few billionaires so lumping him in with DJT & Kari Lake is tough to square.
I know you can’t help you endorses you but OOH Paul Ryan says DJT will not be the nominee while OTOH he’s endorsing RD. And for the true Kiss of Death, Jeb! also endorsed RD.
And speaking of endorsements, RD himself endorsed the only R senate candidate who says no way Trump in 2024.
