NYPost– A bombshell illegal sports betting scheme involving four NBA teams and four Mafia crime families netted upwards of $7 million over two years, the FBI announced Thursday in a historic bust.
Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups, Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and former NBA player Damon Jones are among those indicted in the stunning take down of two separate illegal gambling-related cases.
Thirty one people — including members of the Bonanno, Gambino, Genovese and Lucchese mafia families, and coaches and players from the Charlotte Hornets, Portland Trial Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors — have been arrested in the scheme carried out between January 2022 and March 2024, officials said.
Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups was seen leaving Portland’s federal courthouse late Wednesday afternoon.

I gave up on the NBA when the Seattle Supersonics were moved to Oklahoma City after Howard Schulz (the owner of Starbucks) said that he wouldn’t sell them and betrayed Sonics fans. I also gave up on the NFL when Colin Caperdink took a knee to disrespect the American flag and the Star-Spangled Banner our national anthem. I am a baseball fan and wish that the Seattle Mariners should’ve won the ALCS over the Blue Jays in game 7. Go Dodgers, take em in a sweep in 4 games and wait for next year. I also like college basketball, go Gonzaga Bulldogs.

In 2018 The Supreme Court struck down a 1992 law Congress approved.
The Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act, that had barred betting on football, basketball, baseball and other sports in most states. Supreme Court claimed it was violating the 10th amendment.
Should the Supreme Court be sued?
For they opened up the flood gates for professional sports betting.
That moron, Clay Travis, is so wrapped up with sports and sports betting, both actual and fantasy, that half of his radio show is centered around sports.
