OAN: California is in the process of filing lawsuits against a group of pharmacy benefit managers and insulin manufacturers for using “unlawful, unfair, and deceptive” means to drive up costs.
Pharmaceutical giants, such as Eli Lilly, are a part of the lawsuit by California. The state is accusing the company of unfairly driving up the cost of the diabetes drug. On Thursday, Rob Bonta, the California Attorney General announced that they are seeking to control the “skyrocketing” prices.
According to a press release from Bonta’s office, the lawsuit also lists Novo Nordisk and Sanofi, as well as Pharmacies such as CVS Caremark, Express Scripts, and OptumRx.
The lawsuit alleges that insulin makers, as well as pharmacies benefit management companies have “leveraged their market power” in order to overcharge diabetes patients. MORE
Don’t know much about diabetes except 2nd hand observations and listening with eyes and ears.
THEY seem to be adept at FATTENING them up and then bleeding them dry.

The leading cause of high prices is due to an attack dog Legal Industry that looks at most everything and determines that 10% of that product or service is theirs! Working with the government to tailor laws that enables them is part and parcel of the scam!
Insulin should not be that expensive. Pharmaceutical industrial complex at work. More importantly is the lack of attention to what is causing all this metabolic disease. Sugar, seed oils, and processed foods are at the heart of the issue.
Increase movement, sleep, and lifting weights in addition to eating real food will solve some of the issues.

That was the point. To raise prices, add taxes and fees, prohibit sales from other countries, and generally control everything.
And then they bitch about big pharma. The same pharma that pays politicians and the DoD lots of money to let them keep screwing people over.
How much is the Fed’s cut on the illegal drugs coming across the border? McCain, Biden, Obama, Bush jr/sr, Barr, Holder, Clinton… What’s their cut?
What about the border area governors? The Gulf area governors?
The pharm industry has been in cahoots with big government for ages.
I suppose Cali needs cash to supplement reparations, so taking money for ‘Big Pharma’, and giving them reasin to charge even more for drugs, is the way ‘forward’….
