The numbers are in and it’s looking pretty bad for Senate Dems in November

BPR:

Democrats are in for an uphill battle in November’s midterm elections as they struggle to overtake the GOP-led Senate, according to an Axios and SurveyMonkey poll of key states on Tuesday.

Although Democrats only need to pick up two seats to gain the majority in the Senate, they are struggling to control 10 states already held by Democratic senators. These states are now predominantly red states with voters who are strong supporters of President Donald Trump. They include Indiana, Missouri, Montana and North Dakota, all of which Trump won over in 2016, while his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton couldn’t even win over 40 percent of voters in any of those states, according to a Politico report.

Chances of flipping most states where Republican senators are up for reelection seems slim, with states like Nebraska, Utah and Wyoming most likely a solid GOP win, according to polling data by RealClearPolitics. Democrats’ only hope will be to replace GOP Sen. Jeff Flake from Arizona as he retires with one of their own, while simultaneously defeating GOP Sen. Dean Heller in Nevada.

  1. Don’t get complacent. There are plans for massive voter fraud. Remember what happened in CA when they mucked up the balloting and so many Rs didn’t get their ballots accepted?

There will be illegal aliens voting using their state-provided drivers licenses, voter ID given to illegals and hinky voting machines that change R to D (happened in MN when Al Franken “won”). Also, the ‘found’ ballots in trunks and state Attorney Generals counting more D votes then Rs (tossing R ballots because they were not “valid”).

Unless something happens before November to make the states clean up their voter registrations, election processes and voters being required to show proof of citizenship, I will never believe we will have fair elections.

  2. .45-70, I use a laptop and have to type my name every time. Didn’t used to be that way but the last ‘crash’ changed it. Glad that you still have the auto-fill, but not everyone does.

  3. They handed us Democrat ballots in the State Primaries. My area is 90% + Republican. They said they “ran out” of Republican ballots. Duhhhh. The people manning the voting station were all Democrats for some reason, don’t know where they came from. Obviously stupid but a couple of voters almost walked out. I made a big issue of it and embarrassed the crap out of them. There are lots of loopholes, all which need to be patched, and these Shitweasels are taking advantage.

Get off your ass and vote this year. No time to sit behind your computer and whine or brag. All these shill reports of things getting better for the Right are just making some complacent. Nope.

  4. As we hold our nose and vote against Democrats, we must admonish the Repugnacrats that if they don’t get off their asses things WILL get ugly.
At a minimum they should stop insulting the President and DO THEIR JOBS.

  5. I’m afraid Judgeroybean is correct. I think there will be another “Look squirrel”
moment hyped to the heavens by the despicable MSM. It probably will be disproven but not in time for the elections. It depends in part on how ridiculous the claim is. The majority of us are well aware of the depths the dems are capable of and we will be on guard, watching, always watching.

  6. I now use Chrome instead of Safari. Safari would not autofill my name — I had to type it, or is that typo it? in every time. My email address would autofill but not my name. With Chrome I just have to click in the box and the information comes up. It also has the blog I am on come up as well. I had given up on putting that in a long time ago.

I want to find something other than Chrome, though. I want to give Google as little business as possibile.

  7. Never underestimate the ability of the establishment GOP to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Vote early and vote often. Bring your friends and family, bus in your out of state relatives. That seems to be how it’s done these days.

I’m on Firefox and I have to type in the first letter of my name/email to get the autofill options. No biggie.
