Nothing shocks me anymore. I wish I could say this opinion piece in The New York Times is outlandish, but that’s just a day that ends in “y” here. High inflation is a tax increase. It’s killing working families. It’s torching people’s wallets. It’s nuking the home budgets of fixed-income seniors. For most, this isn’t a good thing. Even hard-core Biden supporters, know this is a 2022 midterm issue. Environmentalists view this as an opportune time to lecture us about how this is good for the planet because of the phantom threat of climate change. No, I’m not kidding

If yer so damn concerned about the “Planet” (talk about arrogance) you should be focused on China, India and the rest of the Third World who get away with polluting 100 times greater than we do simply because they are economically disadvantaged, developing countries!

I don’t buy BS so I wouldn’t have noticed any increase in its price if Congress hadn’t recently given themselves a raise!
It’s not the climate of the planet that creates a problem, it’s the climate of politics that causes the greatest concern.
I suspect China is behind radical environmentalism in America. China inspires or hires leftists who get lawyers and politicians fired up. Next thing you know it costs too much money to produce in America. So jobs go to China where environmentalists disappear.
i want the environmentalists to be stripped nude and dropped off on an uninhabited island so they can live like gaia wantsthem to.

Take a minute to do a quick search and then scroll through about 50 years worth of failed climate predictions. I don’t listen to those who lie to me repeatedly. Politicians, “journalists” and environmentalists top the list.
Kcir, I always said the same thing. Every single enviro who is elected and pushing this crap should have brown outs every day courtesy of their local electric company. Every non-profit and NGO enviro org should suffer the same. No AC/No heat. Oh, you want to use electricity to use a fax machine? Try banging two coconuts together to get your message out. It’s all natural and sustainable!! They are relentless, smug, elite, out of touch and assholes.
