The preconditions for nationhood are dying: Secession ahead?

WND: Pat Buchanan asks why ‘virtuous liberals’ would want to continue in association with ‘deplorables’.

“What do we mean by the Revolution? The war? That was no part of the revolution; it was only an effect and consequence of it. The revolution was in the minds of the people.”

What did John Adams mean when he wrote this to Thomas Jefferson in 1815, after both had served as president?

Adams was saying that America, the country that took up arms and fought for its independence from the British, was already a nation – before 1775.

America preexisted the Constitution, Adams is saying. America had been conceived and born before he and Jefferson began to write its Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia in 1776. America had come into being even before Lexington and Concord in 1775.

A corollary of what Adams wrote is that America, and the republic created by the Constitution, are not the same thing. more here

  1. I honestly don’t think so.
I think that November will flush the Toilet of a Yuge number of Democrats & lift the curtain on the carnage they have caused.

Woke will go out of fashion as It seems to be fading already.
The “woke” Cleanup however, will take 10 years plus.

The financial cleanup will probably take 60 years.

  2. The hell Canada? Me and Arrogance have set up two totally awesome sides for this impending civil shin dig.

And you gotta’ come along and be reasonable?

Go eat your lunch by yourself, Canada.

    Can’t even look at you.

  3. Boom Worthy. Bam Worthy.
Kcir, in the long run, the Democrats are not the problem. And to the next RINO trying to keep a lid on “Violence”, what else have they left us. Just keep poking that Tiger. You’ll dig it.

  4. Burr,

If I lived in Alberta, I would want to leave Canuckistan.

Aren’t you Tired of carrying everyone else? I am.

Technically The 13 Colonies Seceded From England and became America.

    Turf Commiefornia & New York.

    Cheers.

  5. It’s terrible, but secession would work GREAT for the likes of us: low taxes, mucho freedom, open-carry, and zero-tolerance for crime and corruption. We’d be in paradise.

    7
  6. Look at this. It’s pretty well known that Brad and I don’t always agree on….stuff.

But we’re both telling you guys THE EXACT SAME THING.

That should terrify the casual reader.

Full disclosure: already working on my defense for when I’m hauled before the court for crimes against humanity.

    Bang bang indeed.

  7. Maybe the Constitution has held America back?

No. Evil succeeded when good men did nothing. We have the tool(s), we just lack the resolve to carry it out to its full potential.

Trying traitors and publicly hanging the guilty would be a good start.

  8. “Turf Commiefornia & New York. ”

You don’t understand California. And I submit the shooting starts here. We have a NorCal county that as of tonight a Militia has taken over. With the support of LE. Another county has declared itself an independent Republic and not subject to Sacramento’s rules. The difference between us and Washington, Oregon, and Nueva York is WE WILL NOT COMPLY.

    17
  9. Huh. Seriously keep us posted. Had no idea.

My bingo picks are…:looks down at cards:

    Pennsyltucky…..and….Ohio….of all places.

But if it is Cali I ‘ll drive over and hep’.

As long as skeevy Nevada doesn’t close it’s borders.

  10. If there were any self aware leftists, and there aren’t any, they’d be shaking in their boots (actually, their skinny jeans). They think they can keep up this attack on the decency of average Americans without consequence, but when armed people begin to go hungry it’s going to be very bad for those who brought that about and we all know who that is.

    13
  11. Actually Brad, I agree that I don’t understand California.

I figure it must be a lot like Ontario where the Rural areas and many pockets are Conservative but once the Votes get counted in The Urban centres (LA & SF) where all the Socialists & Commies are the state Turns Blue. Every Time.
NYC is 6, 4 year Blue Terms or 24 years Federal Democraps.

People in Cities vote for handouts, free shit, & perversion. That is where the welfare offices are located.

Actually, It would be nice to cut out certain cities. Snake Plisskin Shit, but don’t let them out!

    Cheers!

    > Evil succeeded when good men did nothing.

    Such good. men.

Never new “good” rhymed with “top”. Must be an American thing.

    But, at least they voated.

In a nutshell. the brain dead enemy lives where the water meets the sand. 95% of Geographical California makes anywhere in Texas look Liberal. I don’t mean that as a back handed insult to Texicans, it’s the truth. Do they have the numbers to win these elections? Californian conservatives don’t think so. In fact we know so. So whats left? They’ve infiltrated all the county Election Boards. That’s where it starts. And we’re stuck with that strutting Peacock brain dead Newsom. Newsom is the anointed offspring of families that have historically controlled California. Newsomes, Browns, Getty’s, Pelosi’s. Unfortunately for them he was born just a tad bit slow. However they still have him slated as President of their country. Their mandates are over the top. We’re not stupid. Currently Id estimate less then 10% of Californians pay attention to his “Mandates”. He’s just jerking off. And again, amazingly L.A. county.

  14. There ain’t nobody in California gonna light it off, It will affect their property values. Plus you’d have to get away from the swimming pool, hot tub, 2.3 children. 3.2 various dogs. Nah, they’ll never light it off. They’ll just stay on the porch and bark like tough puppies.

The real civil war will start where property values are closely tied to the hide on your back. MO, TN, KT, MT, WY, TX, KS,OK, the Dakotas and most of the south. That’s where the fuse lies.

  15. General Malaise,

I no longer own a Canadian Flag. It disappointed me too many times.

I really love what the truckers are doing, but the reality that no one wants to admit is that they didn’t chase Turdeau away.

He is Playing Victim like the brat that punches a bigger kid in the arm regularly and when the big kid finally has enough he hauls off and cracks the brat in the face and gets expelled.

Turdeau does not care that people are suffering. He did a mental health Commercial yet all the comments on Y-tube clearly show that the public blames him for the Mental health lockdowns have created. He will happily hang out at his Government paid cottage until the bare shelves eventually turn the public against the Truckers. From day one MSM has carried the Government message Stating the protest is a public safety issue.

However, They do admit that there has been NO VIOLENCE. Its a start.

Toronto City just issued a warning to health care workers to not where your uniforms in public or go outside of Hospitals for breaks during a protest scheduled for this weekend. Think about that total bullshit message! And the entire media is carrying it.

The sad thing is that 80% – 90% of People in the city believe this shit.

    6
  16. Maybe, it’s because of actions like this in Ottawa against the Canadians’ and Americans’ “Boston Tea Party” with semi-Tractor Trailers:

    https://rumble.com/vtzfik-military-set-to-crush-truckers-communist-crown-threatens-forces-versus-prot.html

…”Or forfeit your property [your trucks] to the Crown”:

One day (before I breathe my last breath), Canada shall be an adopted country of America.

I have dreamed about it many times all my life.

    5
  17. Hey wait a minute…..what if it starts popping off first in….CANADA!?!?!?

We may all be guilty of navel gazing while a bunch of snow monkeys fight for freedom.

    Dude.

Hella’ hard to live that down.

    11
  18. sorry, WB, but the fed became the ‘behemoth monstrosity’ long before any one of us was a mere gleam in our daddy’s eyes. we didn’t ‘let it’. it already was ‘this far’

the man who won a civil war, because he had the backing of the astronomical growth & power over the nation, couldn’t reign it in & his administration ushered in the beginning of the graft & corruption we are oppressed by today

(all governments end up this way … if they last long enough. they end up sinking on their own built-up bureaucratic inertia & citizen ‘malaise’)

one must win hearts & minds. I really don’t see that sort of commitment in average folks. hell, they won’t even take their kids out of publicly owned, publicly funded school that they can see are deliberately trying to harm them, ffs!

there is no way a civil succession will work. the fed gov’t will not let its tax base to just peacefully walk away. only way is a military coup & a voluntary ceding of power to civilian authority … hasn’t worked out too well throughout history

…. only happened one time that I can think of … because one man refused to be King

    7
  19. I’m ready Brad, but I haven’t been running my mouth for several years….For fucks sake Burr, you encourage Brad to spew his nonsense and then just lay back while it flows out. I’m thinking you give him thumbs up to watch the eventual late night train wreck of absurdity.

    Again

We have a NorCal county that as of tonight a Militia has taken over. With the support of LE. Another county has declared itself an independent Republic and not subject to Sacramento’s rules.

What state do you live in and what have the counties done to resist tyranny?

    4
  21. “Maybe we can get shared custody.”

    O.K. That was funny.

However, for clarifications sake, I’m not agreeing with Brad. My final four picks are Pennysltucky, Ohio, W….WIdgetstan? (possibly Wisconsin, not sure…) and I’m dumping Grits Town USA and moving Canada up……358 spots.

Further Mr. Ed, I’m trying to be nice.

Which….as it turns out…..leads to spectacular flying train wrecks that involve circus monkeys, party hats and some diminutive yet unfortunate orphaned …Latina….Hitler impersonators.

    Jesus…..I really am a monster.

But at least I’m not a Holocaust denier.

  22. Kcir, just tuned in, wood over propane any day. Of course there are exceptions, wet rotten wood, oleander, but good dry wood or charcoal beats propane all day. Granted, it’s nice to turn a dial and have heat, but it’s not the same.

    6
  23. @Brad Longtime and dear conservative friends of my in laws sold their nice property here in western WA-and moved near Redding, CA. I was surprised. California?!? Not Idaho? They told my mother in law they are surrounded by right minded people and it was a great move.

    5
  24. C’mon Brad, You can be the next Clive Bundy, but don’t chu worry, you’ll have your Tony Lama boots, with the bull riding heels, on to protect you.

    3
  25. You guys duke it out all internet style. That’ll be hella’ relevant.

My newly thought of, and therefore totally awesome idea is that Canada is actually doing…..something. Hangin’ out…honking..whatever. Their government guy seems kinda’ like a dick. If anybody is goin’ all Red Dawn, it’s those guys.

    ….followed by Pennsyltucky et all.

I’m not pickin’ Cali. It’s sorta’ like picking UCLA over USC. Just…….. no. Ever. At all.

  26. Illustr8r
Absolutely true. The problem is you’re still paying California taxes. My wife and I are both California natives. Born and raised. We both love this place. But we’re getting older and not prepared or willing to deal with the big crash. And believe me, it’s coming. I think we’re headed to AZ. Right next to Burr. LOL. And it loos like Kcir and family is going to be living with us. Cali real estates gonna crash. No way around it. We have a big chunk we need to sell for, and then split.

    10
  27. @Brad Nice neighbors of my in-laws just sold and moved near Sandpoint ID. A good friend of mine is putting her house on the market in 6 weeks and is moving to Lander, WY. She and her husband are native Washingtonians. They just can’t take Inslee and his minions anymore. I love everything about WA but the politics. 😞

    4
  28. Illustr8r

My opinion is this country gets divided by state, county lines. We all need to seek refuge in Conservative states asap. The two states I think are viable are Wyoming and Arizona. At least in the west. I’m not moving east.

    4
  29. @Brad I’m originally from Ohio and the East Coast seems like another planet when I visit. Too crowded, too busy in a different way than the west coast.

I really don’t want to move. I love my house. Mr. Illustr8r would move tomorrow though. He has to work with the Woke. We have a handful of friends. We’ve been shunned by most who are in high tech for wrong think. My in-laws little farm is paid off. They don’t want to leave either. Now, they have a tweaker next door. Ugh.

    Liberals ruin everything.

My wife’s the classic Cali Beach Girl. I’ve backed off we gotta get the hell out of here for a while. She was not ready to throw in the towel. After the Libtards attempt to double our tax rate here she told me, “we gotta get the hell out of here”. You two should talk.

“You wanna’ go with bunk beds and desks over there, or platform beds with desks underneath them?”

  32. You’re just jealous of those….gak….those testosterone fueled… freedom loving…:dry heave:…..Canadians…..:BLARF!:

    Oh man….I may pass out.

  33. There’s whole dorm full of us in your head?

Wow. I thought me and Brad were gonna’ have to split one of those Japanese efficiency apartments.

Hell dude, dorms are cool. Mine had a pool table in the common area.

    1
  34. I think Tony Lama boots, with the bull rider heel, if they’re too tight they make you angry like if your tighty whiteies cinch up your nut sack too much. Or you might just be a dumbass.

Either way protect your party monkeys Burr. We’re all in it for the monkees

  35. BRAD!

Dude……you know how I’m always buggin’ ya’ askin’ if you know what’s super pillow biting anal bead loving manscaping gay is?

I don’t want to raise any suspicions……. but I think this guy might have all the answers.

    3
  36. Yea that’s fucking Drunk Willey pissed off his favorite goat didn’t want poked in the ass again tonight. Probably because he hasn’t showered in a month or so. Bad news when you smell so bad your sex slave goat wants nothing to do with your lil dix. How fucked up do you need to be to stalk one person (me) this long? Dude, you need help big time. I smell anything like smelly goat pussy around me I’ll shoot first and ask questions later you whack job.

    3
  37. “Dude……you know how I’m always buggin’ ya’ askin’ if you know what’s super pillow biting anal bead loving manscaping gay is?”

Burr, you are one funny SOB. I’m thinking these assholes do their manscaping with a torch.

    5
  38. Oh.

Didn’t know you knew who that was. Well, if it’s personal, I’ll skip it and go back to writing this pilot episode for Poppi and Miho.

The shows all about a …former competitive weight lifter who adopts a down on his luck..Canadian lad..and together they….um…travel America in an R.V. towing a trailer thats got like a super awesome dune buggy in it that they can use to solve mysteries n’ stuff.

    Damn I’m good.

    2
  39. Geeze, all the doom and gloom! I’m thinking that my tiny little county of redder than red conservatives may last a while. I have lots of neighbors with guns. Almost every property around me has a firing range and we hear gun fire on a regular basis. This spring, my sister and I will finish our range.

That said, we probably will be overrun by the larger leftist cities that surround our county. Maybe I should think about moving south (not going to deal with this Michigan weather if I need to survive without creature comforts!). Maybe I could hide out in the hills of Kentucky.

    4
  40. I’m Not Willey, never have been
So then what’s your deal? Ya want to meet and beat my ass. Or are you just another keyboard pain in the ass with no real direction. What will it take to satisfy you? And really, whats your point? Please let us know,

  42. Well, There used to be Bad_Brad and now it’s Brad. I just choose to expand my vocabulary and I choose to not be anonymous nor comment very often.

It’s your fault Burr. You draw Brad’s imbecility out of him and it inspired me to weirdly participate. There are many reader, lurkers and commentators that take great pleasure in watching Brad’s train wrecks.

We’re headed out to check out Prescott and Prescott Valley soon. Prescott Valley seem to be one area home prices haven’t exploded. A very livable climate. An excellent health care system. A good ground water supply.
Mr Burr is a better authority on this area.

  44. Scene 1: Red emergency light flashes on RV dashboard.

Kcir Gonzales..Mc..Suarte…or whatever..: “Poppi! That red murderlight is flashing again!”

Poppi: “No son, that’s the freedom beacon warning us that once again, SOME DOUCHEBAG NEEDS TO BE FUGGIN’ RAG DOLLED…..old chum”

Miho: “Well let’s pull over by these conveniently placed sand dunes and look at this flashing light some more…”

:RV pulls over by sand dunes:

Poppi: squinting through amber Highway Patrol style sun glasses:

    “somewhere out there……an ass……..needs whuppin. If only…”

Miho: “Hang on! I’ve got an idea!:

:Miho runs to back of trailer, looks at trailer..pats pockets. finds key on second go around. unlocks padlock. feels around with hand. pulls lynch pin from other side. reaches around. gives up. stands contemplatively. Goes into RV. Comes back out with footstool. Goes to back of trailer. stands on footstool. Pops hinge on top of trailer. Returns footstool to RV. Goes back to trailer. Lowers rear trailer ramp. Goes inside trailer. Comes back out of trailer patting pockets. Goes into RV. Comes out of RV patting pockets. Walks around trailer. Goes back inside trailer. Comes out. Goes to RV again. Comes back out with keys. Goes into trailer. Starts engine. Backs dune buggy out of trailer. Grinds gears putting it in first. Pulls up next to Poppi:

Miho: “maybe we can use this dune buggy to cross those sand dunes and help whoever it is that’s out there.”

Poppi: “that’s just crazy enough to work”

    Poppi:

  45. @Brad I can’t stand hot weather so TX or AZ is out for me. Gotta have mountains and seasons. We love Montana but it seems like it’s being sold to clueless Californians. The MT pages I follow are filled with sad stories of CA’s moving in-thinking they are all the lost relatives of Costner’s John Dutton. I think probably Idaho. My FIL said that’s probably where they would go. He has a lot of retired law enforcement friends moving there too.

    2
  46. Oh….uh…..Prescott Valley is all subdivisions. Bleh. There are some really nice ones with country clubs and golf course on the other side of the 69.

Prescott is nice. Hometowny. But it’s all getting crowded. No. Not big city crowded. But pull up at a stop sign behind 4 cars when you used to roll right through that damn stop sign intersection crowded.

As for weather. It snows and we have seasons. Just don’t tell anybody else. Snows in Prescott Flagstaff,Showlow, Strawberry, even down Tuscon way in the mountains. Mt. Lemon ski area is there.

I’m starting to notice light pollution. Um…what else can I bitch about…. there’s only like…15 or 30 old timey cars from the 1920’s to choose from on craigslist…

    2
  47. Shout out to the Grim Reaper.

Love that dude. I have a whole short story about him and covid duke-ing it out to see who is top dawg. Double bonus super plus to the max? Origin story of G.R’s tricycle.

Like finding a Jack Kirby you’ve never read before.

    2
  48. Illustr8r
Prescott Is high desert. 4000 ft. Not like southern AZ. They have four seasons. I can identify. The older I get the more heat bothers me. Google average temp of Prescott. You will be pleasantly surprised

  49. :looks up from Racing Forum…eyes wander around gently swaying train car, observing all the sleeping monkeys in their pajama hatz….goes back to handicapping:

:5 seconds later, looks up in alarm. Looks around train car full of sleeping monkeys. Pokes monkey next to me. Monkey slumps off train chair, splats onto wooden floor, cone shaped pajama hat rolls next to my boot:

“Wait a second.” :Gets up, pushes dead monkeys out of way with foot. Opens train window. Sticks head out. Sees monkey engineer hanging out of engine car….lil’ X’s for eyes….monkey tongue flappin’ in the wind.:

“SON OF B!TCH!!! They’re ALL dead….and this train is headed for…:checks GPS….SAINT ADOLFUS ORPHANAGE FOR UNEMPLOYED TWEEN HITLER IMPERSONATORS!!!!”

    “NOT AGAIN!!!!!!”

  50. “Almost every property around me has a firing range and we hear gun fire on a regular basis”

Hey! Me too! Except it’s Mexicans in an east Dallas neighborhood popping off for whatever reason. Actually had to repair a bullet hole in the roof after New Year’s Eve one year. Hearing them bounce off my neighbor’s brick pile just 8 feet away from my office window was comforting too.

    3
  51. #Brad Burr KCIR

You guys got it all wrong.
The way to divvy up these two nations the way they should be is to have 10 million conservatives move to Canada.
Along with the conservatives there, we would own it.
Install a US style Constitution with some REAL teeth for disregarding it, and make sure that “Liberty and Justice for All” is the basic tenet of government.
After a few years, probably less than five, the deplorable US interior could join us.
Eventually the coastal enclaves would be pared down to a small footprint of liberal shitholes.
The one problem I see that may be a problem is Quebec.
    Fuck Quebec.
Make them swear allegiance to our new country or leave, just like they did to the Acadian French back during King Phillip’s wars.

It’s true about liberals and salt water.
I believe it is something in the water.
I have a close relative who was a good solid conservative that moved to the coast and is now a flaming liberal.

    1
  52. Of course I got it wrong. Didn’t you read the thread? Ed Goldstein or whatever says I’m a menace to society, a terrible role model for ̶d̶e̶l̶i̶c̶i̶o̶u̶s̶ children, a horrific disappointment to humanity, and best of all, an all powerful Wizard King capable of causing mayhem and destruction with little more than a keyboard and a hypno coin.

    I would totally date myself.

  53. FTA: “Why would good liberal Democrats accept an electoral victory and future rule by Nazis and fascists rather than seek to overturn it, by whatever means necessary?”
    They wouldn’t, thus the steal.
