White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was kicked out of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia by the owner because of her work for President Donald Trump, she confirmed to The Daily Caller.

  14. Lots of beautiful riding country in the Rockbridge(Lexington) and Bath county areas. Both over run by elitists snobs that give guys like me grief.
    I ride through and stop only at the occasional wide spot in the totally bucolic areas.
    Ironically, back in the 70s and early 80s it was the old rednecks that hassled me on my Panhead by calling me long haired girly boy, hippy, commie, faggot,damn dirty biker,etc.
    Nowadays it’s the young “tolerant liberals” that give me grief, calling me nazi, homophobe, racist, old bald white redneck, and the ever popular age old; damn dirty biker.
    Funny, ’cause other that the aches,pains,wrinkles and hair loss….I’m the very same guy I always was.
    My conclusion; people are bigoted, dumbassed and generally full of shit.

  17. Here’s a plan to deal with bullshit like this. It has worked many times.
    Call “The Red Hen” on a Monday and request a reservation for twelve to eighteen people, preferably in a private room. No private room available? OK. but could you arrange for just one table to accommodate all? I’ll call you
    tomorrow with an exact head count. We are coming from New York to visit
    Virginia and are looking forward to dining at “The Red Hen.” OK
    Call back Tuesday and give them an exact head count of sixteen people.
    Now you have two options.
    1. Just don’t show up and ignore all phone calls.
    2. Show up with fourteen or eighteen patriots and have them scurrying to adjust for the new headcount, for which you apologize.
    Then, the leader (that would be me) orders a very dry martini on the rocks, just to make it look good. The rest just order water.
    Spend plenty of time studying the menu. Have the waiter come back several times just to be told we haven’t decided yet. Then, after I’ve finished my martini, we all get up and leave. I pay for my martini and leave a tip.
    Of course we go to another “Pub N’ Grub” and have a ball.

    I’ve studied Saul Alansky. That’s the way to fight back against these
    phucking scumbags.

  18. Old Dad Lazlo the Oldest owned a restaurant. If an employee of his griped about not wanting to serve a person based on his politics that bastard would have been fired and chased out the back door with a piece of firewood.
    Same for anybody that disturbed or disrespected a guest, like they did to Mrs. Nielson. The old Man would have kicked the lot of them out, many sporting bruises from his firewood stick for not moving fast enough, and he would have served Mr. and Mrs. Nielson the rest of the evening, cooking the meal himself, furious with the staff for not shooting someone to put a stop to it before he had to suffer such a mortal embarrassment.
    In remembering the Old Man, I see again with him, Honor played a large part of his world. God I miss him and his sense of honor.

    You should also know your restaurants. If I was a senior or public person in this administration, there is no way in hell I’d be eating out or having anything delivered to my home.
    I can guarantee you that she has had her food screwed with umpteen times already.
    Best yet, we need to drive these restaurants out of business and finanacialy break and ruin their owners. Likely that’s the best way to set an example to end this nonsense.

  20. Apparently the employees called the owner to tell her Sarah was in the restaurant. This c**t DROVE back to the restaurant to tell Sarah she wasn’t welcome.

    Yelp reviews are tanking. She is also part-owner of a yarn shop in Lexington – House Mountain Yarn. Be a shame if those reviews tanked, too.

  24. This restaurant is across the street from Stonewall Jackson’s house and blocks from Virginia Military Institute. Tough crowd. Although there are some liberal townies and students at Washington & Lee, this small town is surrounded by a red state rural county –where the ingredients for this hip farm-to-fork bistro come from. Watch for a loss of clientele AND vendors.
    Best solution is for the owner to move east an hour and reopen in Charlottesville.

  29. My opinion for what it’s worth is a business should be allowed to refuse service to anyone for any reason. However as someone who owns a business I keep politics out of my business because it’s never smart to piss off those who pay your bills.
    I find it funny I must admit when gun shops post signs that they won’t sell to liberals, but myself would never do it.

    I’m sure these folks will soon learn why it’s never a good idea to piss off at least half of your customers or would be customers.
