Not gonna’ watch a 3 minute commercial to see that after.
John McAfee knew more then he told. I hope his kill switch has a kill switch. I also wonder if his kill switch met with an accident already.
Key take-aways I get from Mcafee’s video warning –
A – He was talking about porn sites giving you this key logger. Personally, I’m perfectly safe from that. YMMV
B – He talked about your banking password being stolen once you logged in. Again, personally, I do no banking with my phone and I do not purchase anything online with it. I also have only a few passwords I’ve used since I bought my iPhone in 2015 – The required password for my email and one unimportant server management site I access once or twice a year through my phone.
I totally don’t like that it needed my new CC info instead of being able to take care of my extra storage fee on my desktop.
This is really a warning of:”You’re stupid to access porn with your phone”.
Yeah. Duh. Next?
P.S. Yeah. we are always vulnerable to those with the peeping powers. This is why you should ALWAYS add “NSA SUCKS!” every once in a while to your texts and lengthy conversations.
I have a friend that’s a touch out there paranoia-wise and I like to do that when we text or talk for any good length of time. At least he laughs too.
