God bless the media. Without it, I wouldn’t have known that CNN’s Don Lemon indignantly demands to know, “Who the hell do you think you are?!”
Yours truly has only a vague sense of who Don Lemon is and has never in my memory seen his program on TV or him in the supermarket or anywhere else. But I can answer his question.
Mr. Lemon reportedly directed his question to armed protesters who, despite the nation’s lockdown and stay-at-home orders, had gone public to demand their constitutional rights to assemble, to lodge their grievances with their government and to arm themselves. That would be the First and Second Amendments, respectively.
As the iconic, though fictional, counterpart to Lemon said a generation or two ago, those protesters “are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.”
One might have thought that Lemon would have a passing acquaintance with the Constitution, which not so incidentally also protects his own livelihood. As a television news person, Lemon might even be expected to also be familiar with the fictional, but iconic, newscaster Howard Beale from the 1976 movie Network.
Beale was played by Peter Finch, who, in the movie, broke down on national TV and announced he was so fed up that he would commit suicide live on TV. But why?
“It’s like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don’t go out anymore,” the fictional Beale shouted instead of dutifully droning the latest bad news to his viewers. Although not a perfect fit, Beale’s words seem prophetic today.

The only reason anyone knows Don Lemons name is because he is a homo of color, with zero morals, zero character, and will lie his ass off for money.
That makes him a perfect progressive news person/drone who stokes hatred for President Trump, and anything decent or patriotic. He is a piece of shit.

Ever ask yourself why it seems the IQ of the average cop these days is in the single digits? The governments enforcers need to be borderline retarded or they wouldn’t treat law abiding citizens the way they do. For a disturbing look at the average cop today, one only has to go to YouTube and type in “tyrant cops”. You will be sickened at what you see. Just a word of advice, never converse with a cop. Nothing good can come out of that. Today, virtually every cop is trained to entrap you with underhanded tactics and lies. Their knowledge of the law and respect of the Constitution is lacking, to say the least. Be prepared to video every contact with law enforcement for your own protection. Yeah, it’s gotten that bad. Things have changed, folks. If they treat us this way while we have the right to our arms, imagine what they will treat us like if we are ever disarmed and the progressives are in charge.

I’m the kind of person that actually appreciates being left alone, I was social distancing way before it was required. I have been paying taxes since I was 13, doing my bit to at least financially support the government, hoping they would keep their distance. I’m the product, like the rest of folks my age, of parents who were raised during the Great Depression, and grand parents who suffered through the same financial episode. My father was a veteran of the Korean conflict, who signed up for 2 years and got an extra year tacked on by government edict, and was dogged by the government for 20 years over the price of a bus ticket from California to Texas when he mustarded out. I was raised under the work hard, waste not, want not, and the government ain’t your friend, philosophy. That said, the government in it’s infinite wisdom keeps injecting itself into my life. It would be very much appreciated if they, the government, would just take my money, hopefully quit wasting it, shut the hell up, and leave me alone. For folks with a similar background, it is hard to understand the acceptance of the Bernie’s, the AOC’s, and the Hillary’s, of the country we live in today. They, the communist in America, took away some of our rights after 9/11, and are doing it today because of a virus, without the first shot having been fired. If we continue down this path of allowing our rights to be usurped by the communist community of this country, we won’t be living in the USA any longer, it will be in the United Communist States of American. Like my dear departed Dad used to say “Never trust anyone who is from the government, who says they are here to help.” that’s as true today as it was back then. This country was built by hard work, sacrifice, and self reliance, are we going to let those who never worked a day in their worthless life, under the guise of protecting us from a damn virus, take away what was given to us, our birthright, by our forefathers? The government must give us back our right to work or suffer the consequences. Sorry for the ramblings; but, I’m pissed!
