Washington state is teaming up with its two West Coast counterparts to counteract what they view as the corrosion of the federal CDC, or Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Gov. Bob Ferguson’s office on Wednesday morning announced the launch of a new “West Coast Health Alliance,” alongside Govs. Gavin Newsom of California and Tina Kotek of Oregon. The alliance’s mission is simple: “to ensure residents remain protected by science, not politics.” more
