Thousands Rush to Aid Bahamas as Dorian’s Devastation and Death Toll Numbers Climb

As of late Sunday night Dorian has weakened brining what is hopefully its final damage to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Thus far at least 43 deaths in the Bahamas have been confirmed and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper has confirmed two deaths from the storm.

CBS News revealed much of Dorian’s devastation thus far and what actions are being taken to aid its crushed path:

-The Coast Guard has rescued at least 290 people in the Bahamas. more

  1. how come no one is bitching about how the UK isn’t coming to the Bahamas aid quickly enough? … the US Coast Guard? where the hell is the British Navy, huh?

  4. And now cruise ships wont be going to the Bahamas for a while either. Sad for them. Horrible.

    I read an article on how Dorian changed the landscape under water. The harbors will have to be remapped. Then we see that car hauler capsized in the channel off coast of Georgia. I wonder if the topography changed there too?
