Passengers of a Qantas non-stop flight from Perth to London have praised a pilot’s decision to turn around just two hours into the 17-hour journey.
The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner took off from Perth at 7:03 pm local time and was due to land at 10:54 pm in London after a 17-hour flight.

Well that’s good to know! We are flying Qantas to Sydney from SFO in January. It’s a 15-hour flight. I’ve got it all planned out how to not get jet lag, bring snacks, lots of water, and get up and walk around. I sure hope no one screws this up for me and DH as we’ve had this planned for a long time for our 50th!
