While Vice President Kamala Harris was supposed to be acting as President Joe Biden’s border czar, her newly-announced vice presidential pick, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), was giving illegal immigrants in Minnesota free services.
During his time as governor, Walz has signed laws to provide no-cost health care, free college tuition, and driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants, the New York Post reported.
Walz argued that it was better to offer a driver’s license to illegal immigrants than to have them drive without one. “Ensuring drivers in our state are licensed and carry insurance makes the roads safer for all Minnesotans,” Walz said in 2023 after he signed a bill that licensed illegals. “As a longtime supporter of this bill, I am proud to finally sign it into law, making our roads safer and moving us toward our goal of making Minnesota the best state to raise a family for everyone.” more
