Just the News: Singer Tina Turner died Wednesday at her home at the age of 83 after a “long illness,” her spokesperson said.
“Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock’n Roll’ has died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Küsnacht near Zurich, Switzerland,” her spokesperson said, according to Sky News. “With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model.”

She pretty much made anything she sang sound great. And with boundless energy.

I don’t remember when or where I saw/heard this, but she taught Mick Jagger how to dance. He was a C student at best.

A legend indeed. I saw her live three times. The second time our seats were in the first or second row and I could literally smell her perfume when she came on stage. She was some kind of performer. RIP Miss Turner.
In 1972 she did a pearl drops toothpaste commercial in which she was so sexy, it was banned. I was lucky enough to have seen it, it made a man outta me.
