WFB – – – Fox News announced on Friday that it has hired Nigel Farage, the former head of the United Kingdom’s Independence Party and a leader of the “Brexit” movement, to serve as a paid contributor for the news network.
Farage was an early supporter of Britain leaving the European Union, arguing that the British people had to retake control of their country. The campaign succeeded in June 2016, when U.K. citizens voted to withdraw from the EU through a referendum.
