BPR: A top New Hampshire Democrat was arrested Thursday for allegedly biting and attacking a woman and was charged with a list of crimes, including assault and domestic violence.
Jeff Woodburn, 53, the Democratic leader of the state Senate, was charged with four counts of simple assault, two counts of domestic violence, two counts of criminal mischief and one count of criminal trespassing, according to the Concord Monitor.
Woodburn reportedly hit, bit and hurled objects at the “adult female victim” and allegedly broke into her house, which was locked at the time. The abuse had reportedly been going on between August 2017 and June 2018. read more
