George Zimmerman had originally posted for auction the weapon he used in the justified shooting of Trayvon Martin on GunBroker.com, yesterday, but the site soon took down the offering.
Switching to United Gun Group the 9 mm Kel-Tec PF-9 pistol was listed with a minimum set at $5,000.
Trolls forced the bids up into the millions with one topping out at $65 million for before suspending the account.
I’ve checked the site and couldn’t find the auction this morning, perhaps someone is the new proud owner of a 9-mm.

It should have been a sting operation. Probably fifty outstanding warrant fools would have been lining up for handcuffs.
Require a deposit before bidding. If winner does not pay then forfeits the deposit.

I was “kinda” in the market for a .45 last Spring. Not something I was hot to get – I just wanted a .45 in the stable at some point – but I saw a G21 with a real low starting price – $400.00
Why not, I said, and put a bid on the.45 with no intention of outbidding anyone that outbid me.
No one else bid.
Since it was a local Texas man selling it, I skipped shipping & transfer fees and picked it up personally. Still had to pay taxes but that was only another 8.25%
I have also perused the site a little inebriated and came away with a couple of great buys I would have missed if I wasn’t bored those rainy Winter days.
Too bad that damn lake swallowed them all up, though. Real shame.
The two Sub2000’s I lost in that lake are something not offered anywhere else.
Nothing crap about an accurate carbine that shoots everything every time and folds to 16 1/4 inches.
But please keep up the anti-Keltec rants. Their dang popularity keeps their prices higher than I like and I appreciate any effort to bring them down some.
