Trump admin responds to ‘Dilbert’ creator’s plea to ‘help save my life’ by expediting cancer treatment

FOX:

Cartoonist Scott Adams said in a social media post Sunday that he plans to appeal to President Donald Trump for help scheduling a cancer drug treatment that he believes could prolong his life.

Adams, the creator of the “Dilbert” comic strip, announced earlier this year that he had metastasized prostate cancer.

He wrote in a post on X that his healthcare provider, Kaiser Permanente – Northern California, approved his application to receive a new FDA-approved drug Pluvicto.

“But they have dropped the ball in scheduling the brief IV to administer it and I can’t seem to fix that. I am declining fast,” Adams wrote. “I will ask President Trump if he can get Kaiser of Northern California to respond and schedule it for Monday. That will give me a fighting chance to stick around on this planet a little bit longer. It is not a cure, but it does give good results to many people.”

  1. Kaiser has “approved”, but not “provided”. Big difference between the two.
Kaiser is dragging its feet, hoping that Mr Adams will expire before they have to spend $$$ to provide this experimental drug to prolong the life of a (GASP!) conservative.
With that thinking, I sympathize with healthcare patients that want to “expire” fat bux healthcare CEOs.

  2. So if you’re rich and famous the President will call your health insurance company and light a fire under their ass, but the average person gets fucked and dies? Got it.

  3. This is emblematic of the leftists desired society, one where everything devolves upward to the Head Man In Chief and Charge. And those who can apply the pressure through fame or fortune can have a chance at what they want, others can pound sand.

I do not approve. I am an American and we don’t run that way.

Knock it the hell off. The number of times Donald Trump has reached out on behalf of someone with no connections and done it anonymously simply astonish a lot of people when they learn of it. If you want to try and diminish another person’s reputation based off pure speculation all you have done is add that you are unaccomplished yourself and by extension unworthy of respect. Donald Trump had that reputation all of his adult life and when it was brought up did not use those occurrences to segue into self congratulatory party.
