Bongino.com: Canada’s government-owned broadcasting network, CBC, cut Donald Trump out of its Christmas Day broadcast of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
ComicBook.com first reported the omission, and reached out to CBC and asked why Trump was edited out of the movie.
“As is often the case with features adapted for television, Home Alone 2 was edited to allow for commercial time within the format,” responded the network.

The CBS is absolutely disgraceful. Even back in the early 1970’s it was making decisions aboot what people should be watching, not what people wanted to watch. There was a country-western music show called Don Messer’s Jubilee that the government snot-bags pulled because they said it was too “country” for the college educated and the art-fart types. So they killed it. Never mind that all Canadians paid for the TV service through taxation.
My family always loved the Trump cameo growing up bc we knew that Trump had been a major factor in New York being rejuvenated and thriving at the time.
Now we like it even more because, hey! The president is in home alone! Cool!
