Trump delivers pro-Christian policy at National Prayer Breakfast, leaves ‘woke’ bishops in the dust

AWN;

To say that President Donald Trump is on a roll would be an understatement, and he continued to pull no punches at the annual National Prayer Breakfast in D.C. on Thursday.

Trump delivered a speech highlighting the importance of religion in American life. He touched on the recent assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, which he said had deepened his faith in God.

“[Butler] changed something in me,” Trump said. “I feel even stronger. I believed in God, but I feel much more strongly about it.”

Trump also revealed some major policy changes regarding Christianity and urged the nation to reintroduce religion into daily life, reflecting on how faith has shaped America’s history and helped it persevere through its many challenges. more here

  1. Crikey!

    He had me all the way until he named that grifter, Paula White, as head of his faith-based office.

    His heart might be in the right place, but his faith is weak and naive. I support him standing up for religious liberty but there are so many charlatans and fakes out there. God will separate them come judgment day, but for now, get them the hell of the WH.

  2. Faith can not be separated from politics as it informs our ethics and morals. However we must be careful to let the issue be “handled” by a person such as “pastor” Paula White, who is a controversial choice.

    Better to name a “board” of advisors then a grifter religious figure.

  3. Trump joined Team Talmud in 2017. He may believe in God, but he foresakes Jesus. Choosing Paul White shows he has no idea what the Bible teaches.
    Here is 3 quotes from Paula White:
    “When I walk on White House grounds, god walks on White House grounds”
    “Where I stand is holy”
    “To say no to President Trump is would be saying no to god”
    And this is who Trump wants to surround himself with.

    I wish it were not the case, but Trump far from being a Christian.

  4. Paula’s only 58. Given that she’s on her third “husband,” Paula probably has another two or three to go.

    On the other hand, given that Trump set in motion the overturn of Roe-v-Wade, he likely out-Christians all other U.S. presidents. Christ will probably meet Trump at the gate to Heaven and say, “I know you. Welcome.” If only I should be as righteous as Trump …
