JTN: In the wake of a scathing report in which special counsel Robert Hur harshly criticized President Joe Biden’s handling of classified materials but opted against bringing charges, former President Donald Trump called for prosecutors to “immediately” end the prosecution against him over similar alleged conduct.
“They should immediately drop the case against me,” Trump told Fox News. “I am covered by the Presidential Records Act — he wasn’t. He had many, many times more documents — totally unguarded. Mine were always surrounded by Secret Service and in locked rooms.”
Trump faces prosecution in special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation, with the trial set for May 20.
Trump further called the conduct described in Hur’s report substantially worse than the allegations against him. more

When in reality he is a vile, mean, ill-tempered* old criminal whose lack of mental acuity should not exempt him from prosecution.
*The WH staff calls him “Old Yeller” for a reason.
They’ll just argue that Trump does not have dementia – albeit reluctantly – so that they can ignore his request.
Since they have complete control over the proceedings, they won’t even need to address the level of corruption that is obvious on Biden’s part.
