Trump-Endorsed Daniel Cameron Wins Kentucky GOP Primary for Governor

Epoch Times-
Daniel Cameron, who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump, won the Republican nomination in the Kentucky gubernatorial race on Tuesday.

He now faces incumbent Gov. Andy Beshear, a Democrat, in the November general election. Beshear is seeking his second term as governor.

Cameron, a former legal counsel to Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), currently serves as Kentucky’s attorney general.

He announced his bid for governor last year and emerged victorious over 11 other candidates.

Among the candidates was Kelly Craft, who served as the United Nations ambassador in the Trump administration, and had secured a last-minute endorsement from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Also among the candidates were Kentucky’s agriculture commissioner, Ryan Quarles, state auditor Mike Harmon, and Somerset Mayor Alan Keck.

There were no reports of voting disruptions, even though storm warnings were issued in some areas in the state, according to the secretary of state’s office. Turnout was light in many locations due to rain across much of the state during part of the day, the office noted.

During his campaign, Cameron emphasized his record in office, reminding voters of his lawsuits against Beshear and the Biden administration over abortion, immigration, and COVID-19 policies. more here

  1. Proof positive there is only one man that can win for GOP! Hi is the one DOMINION fabricates votes against! Which is why the leftist KEMP HAS DONINION lodged in Ga..

  2. The Beshear election was the prototype for the 2020 steal. Every down ballot race was won by Republicans, but somehow, the Governors race was said to have been decided by the Teacher’s Union of all things, after multiple ballot counting shenanigans.

    So the primary is unimportant.

They will steal the general regardless.

  3. However, If anyone would like to consider this a bellwether, the concern should be about R voter turnout.
    It has been pathetic.
    Dems get out their vote.
ALL WE DO IS BITCH ABOUT LOSING.

  4. @Saltine …. DeSantis (coughing up Ken Griffin’s pubes and ass hairs) I had better things to do than to keep Jacksonville from FLIPPING RED to blue by actually supporting & stumping for the Repub candidate (as Ron adjusts kneepads and looks back up into Griffin’s eyes).

  5. Why is it that so many of these trolls use their homoerotic fantasies to attempt to smear others?
Are men’s asses always on your mind?

I suppose if you have no cogent argument you resort to ad hominin attacks.

  6. Everyone, what Salty is saying with his “facts” is that Jacksonville, a former Red city, voted for Biden in 2020 but DeSantis doesn’t have enough Flex as gov of his own state to help the repub candidate win BUT be sure to vote DeSantis for Pres….JHC u cant make this crap up!

  7. Give it up anon.
    Nobody is buying your BS.
Neither Trump nor DeSantis was on the ballot yesterday.
Yet with your illiberal logic it was DeSantis fault that the R didn’t get his voters to even bother coming out?
Jacksonville is the ugly Florida stepchild and everyone in Florida is aware of this.
I suppose the R winning in Panama City over an entrenched dem was a DeSantis success then?
    Thanks for playing.
