DCN: In a recent ruling, a judge in Pennsylvania declared that an election worker is unable to file a lawsuit against President Trump for his statements that cast doubt on the 2020 election results.
The judge, Michael Erdos, determined that these statements are protected by “presidential immunity.” Specifically, Trump’s immunity covered a tweet he posted and comments he made from the White House during a Pennsylvania state Senate committee hearing in November 2020. Sadly, politically-motivated lawsuits have no repercussions … or this would never had happened.
I just heard more good news for Trump. In a recent en banc determination, the 11th District Court said that it is not okay for Merrick Garlick to have Trump shot by firing squad within their jurisdiction. So things are definitely looking up for Trump.
Actually, even though president Trump has enough on his plate, had that case proceeded, the tons of evidence Don could have introduced would have been fun to watch.
