President Donald Trump on Friday said he has given federal immigration agents “Total Authorization” to protect themselves after clashes with protesters during an enforcement operation at a California cannabis farm.
Trump was traveling to Washington from Texas, where he toured the region where devastating floods have left at least 120 people dead, and he penned a lengthy post on Truth Social about the violence against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
“I am on my way back from Texas, and watched in disbelief as THUGS were violently throwing rocks and bricks at ICE Officers while they were moving down a roadway in their car and/or official vehicle,” he wrote on Truth Social.
“Tremendous damage was done to these brand new vehicles. I know for a fact that these Officers are having a hard time with allowing this to happen in that it shows such total disrespect for LAW AND ORDER.”

Put away the rubber bullets and paint ball guns and bring on the lead ball guns. Make it a federal felony to be part of a mob that impedes any public roadway for political protest and make it a Class A federal felony to be part of a group that attempts to unlawfully detain any motorist or passenger on any public roadway that has EVER had so much as a red cent spent on it. Hint: if it’s got pavement on it there is a 95% chance federal money has been spent on it.

It is far worse, their motivation is to put their disrespect for taxpaying, good, decent, legal residents on display.
A lot fewer supporters of illegals, along with a lot fewer illegals sounds like a good combination to me.

Now that SCOTUS has weighed-in on and overturned local judges’ TRS orders on deportation, etc., it is vitally important that law enforcement arrest and charge violent protesters on the spot and send the message that you throw a rock, block a vehicle/roadway, lay hands on a LEO, etc, you’re outta here! And under FEDERAL jurisdiction, not the revolving doors of local, activist DAs.
The most demoralizing legacy of oblowme and biden was to watch, day after day, the continued violence and lawlessness go on and on, unpunished.
Trump and his DoJ know that to allow thugs, vandals, and looters to continue unabated is and has been the smoldering fuse that would eventually ignite a total breakdown and vigilantism. I believe this was oblowme’s and biden’s end game in order to invoke a social lockdown, just as we saw with the plandemic. I’ve grown extremely cynical, but we’ve all seen how easily our country is lied into compliance. It is far easier to coup an election when everyone is mailing ballots.

The earlier suggestion was that ICE and supporting agencies are at their limit, so simply arresting those they wanted to arrest was all they had the resources for. I think they will be better off planning to arrest those who come to try to prevent them from doing their job, in addition to the ones they intended to arrest. I bet that after a few public instances like this the violent protestors will pull back.

@Anon1441 — Every group operating where there’s potential for conflict acts under rules of engagement. The ROE for ICE has been overly restrictive of the use of force. This change eases up on that a bit, which is good.
Part of me still wants to see them issued flame throwers, though.
Underscoring Brad’s comment: It is profoundly foolish to think, without law enforcement pushing back, that the violence against them will not escalate. It has and it will if it is not countered. And the groups behind it have clearly declared they will stop at nothing and use any means necessary. These people do not think normally, and they believe they have the cover of anonymity — the “fog of war.”
I don’t know how many here have had the misfortune to come into a group of determined thugs, but it ain’t pretty. A mob mentality is a real thing. Hell’s bells! Some years back, while driving home through an otherwise quiet neighborhood, I was forced to stop and wait while hundreds of members of the Cascade Bicycle Club took over the roadway. When I rolled down my window to ask them if I could just squeeze through, I was met with vile language, jeers and middle fingers. A bicycle club!! There is also an evening jogging club that fills the street in front of our house once a quarter (they take different routes every week). There are hundreds of joggers who run down the middle of the street, loudly hollering, who have no intention of yielding to traffic. A couple of guys even yelled profanities at Geoff C. as they ran by — after he asked them to keep the noise down. A running club!!
Does anyone think a group whose goal is to disrupt, damage property, and wound and kill law enforcement is going to be deterred without return fire and/or arrests?
If I were in charge I’d set up a big old ambush. It would be easy to suck them into the old L shaped ambush. These aren’t the same combatants showing up. Put an end to it.
Also, if you go on Reddit there’s people tracking and posting ICE locations constantly. In fact there are posts warning where ICE will appear the next day. It’s quite the network and why they would be easy to set up.
…I imagine the DoJ/FBI has infiltrated some of these groups by now. One can only hope, anyway.

cascade Bicycle Club, Mountaineers Club and a few others were infiltrated by, and have been taken over by the progressive/Marxist/Satanist movement and have been more or less a communist front group for a couple decades now.
You have seen proof in Florida that, when they have approved that traffic doesn’t have to stop for protesters in the streets, you no longer see them in the streets.
Same for those who throw deadly bricks, rocks, etc. at law enforcement. After the first few deaths by ICE/law enforcement gunfire to protect themselves, they will stop.
If not, just keep shooting those trying to kill law enforcement.

The protesters have 4 main weapons: spit, yelling “FU** YOU” over and over, carrying signs with dumb-ass leftist slogans, and brandishing the Mexican flag.
The ICE and police have shown remarkable constraint when faced with these low-IQ illegals and their liberal friends. The one angry incident I saw on YT was when a protester hit an officer with a sign on a stick. The officer didn’t waste any time, was all over the protester in less than a second, and dragged him to the side, where he and other officers pounded the bastard, tied him up, and arrested him. Good job.
