Who wants to bet that Cyrus Vance supported Timothy Geithner for Treasury Secretary even after all of his tax issues were made public? Reminder: claimed summer camp as child care; failed to pay self-employment taxes in 2001-2004 – the IRS found the issue for 2003 and 2004 – so he paid those taxes but failed to pay those taxes for 2001 and 2002 until scrutinized in 2009.
Did Geithner plead guilty – hell no. It was an “honest” mistake – I hope all of you suckers take a deduction for sending your kids to overnight camp – if and when caught, just say “oops, my bad”

I thought the news was that there weren’t going to be any indictments. Then again, Weisselberg has not been indicted yet.
