The nominees make up an impressive list of highly respected jurists, attorneys and legal thinkers. Those of us who doubted Trump would take judicial nominations seriously may have some crow to eat. Trump has already fulfilled more campaign promises the short time he’s been in office than any president in my lifetime.
Reagan and Bush supposedly appointed conservative judges, too. Many turned out not so much. Waiting to see who is who…as if I have a choice.
I hope Ted Cruz is one of the choices. He’s a constitutionalist and not one to make new rights where none exist or to make new law from the bench.
