DailySignal: President Donald Trump took his crusade for tax reform to North Dakota Wednesday.
Though he said the tax reform plan will boost prosperity and make America more competitive during the remarks at the Andeavor Refinery in Mandan, North Dakota, Trump jokingly singled one industry that wouldn’t grow under a reformed and simpler tax code.
“A staggering 94 percent of families need professional help to do their taxes, they have to get it, which is why the tax preparation industry generated $10 billion in revenues last year. That’s one business I want to drive down,” Trump said. “H&R Block will not be supporting Donald Trump.”
He said tax forms can run for 241 pages. But, under his plan, Trump claimed, 95 percent of taxpayers could file on a single page. MORE
Pres. Trump is correct! the tax code does not need to be simplified, it needs to be flushed along with the rest of the crap.
I think Trump is clearly sensing that if he’s going to get anything accomplished he will need to rely on the Democrats. Levin is ripping on him AGAIN for the deal with the Democrats. I wonder if Levin actually read Ryan’s proposal? 18 months of kicking the can down the road with no budget instead of 3 months. We need to clean house on RINO obstructionist in 2018.
Brad – I didn’t hear Levin, but Trump should know he (anyone!) can’t trust what a Democrat promises. RINO’s are just using a later date as their excuse for outright lying.
Burner, I don’t think Trump is foolish enough to trust any of them. The GOP has proven untrustworthy too. Like I say we need to clean house.
Since the reach-around congress has been sandbagging it for the last 2 decades, it’s a good topic to shine a light on…
@018 should be a very interesting election
Mid terms are gonna be good phuckas! 🙂
