Pluralist: A longtime teacher has sued a school district in the state of Washington claiming a principal harassed him over his support for President Donald Trump, a press release from his lawyer said Wednesday.
The ridicule and humiliation has aggravated symptoms of a recent stroke suffered by Eric Dodge, making him unable return to work, according to the the release from his attorney Michael Estok.
Dodge said Caroline Garrett, who was the principal of Wy‘east Middle School in Vancouver in the Evergreen School District last fall, approached him at one point and angrily asked him: “OK, what is the [expletive] deal with you and your hat!”
She proceeded to call him a “racist,” “bigot,” “homophobe,” “liar” and “hateful person,” Dodge’s lawsuit claims. read more
If he can prove it (i.e. video recording or witnesses) he will probably win.
If he can’t, he probably won’t.
The left had children singing songs to obama in school and now they don’t think we’re allowed to wear a hat.
As far as the charge of being a racist, etc., it is no more illegal or immoral to be a racist than it is to be a queer.
Sue the bastards through the floor. The chances that the claims are not 100% true shrink to insignificance.
The thing that really burns my ass to a crisp is that the first dollar of any settlement does not come out of any retirement these pieces of shit have accrued.
Until they are flat on their ass broke the taxpayers should not have to kick in a dime.
Don’t sue the school. Any money used for, and coming out of, that lawsuit will come from the taxpayers. (not good)
Sue the principal directly. Any money from that will come from the teachers unions, and her pocket directly. (good)

Nope, right in their contract that the District is obligated to pay for their defense and they have to provide them with liability coverage as well.
