Trump To Recognize Jerusalem As Israeli Capital And Lay Groundwork For Embassy Move

DC: President Donald Trump will recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and initiate a multi-year process of relocating the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to the contested city, administration officials confirmed Tuesday.

Trump will make the recognition in a speech Wednesday and direct the State Department to begin preparations for an embassy move, fulfilling a polarizing campaign promise. Administration officials did not offer a concrete timeline for the relocation, conceding that identifying a site, designing and building a facility, and securing the diplomatic compound would take a minimum of three to four years and likely much longer.

Although the announcement will mark a break from decades of U.S. policy, it reflects a “recognition of reality” about Jerusalem’s historic connection to the Jewish people and its position as the seat of the Israeli government, senior administration officials said on background. read more

  1. Dome of the Rock to be relocated to Mecca

If you can put a giant dome on a Jewish temple and prevent them from rebuilding it, you can move your embassy there as well.

Why would Mohammad choose a location of Jewish origin to ascend into heaven? Isn’t everything associated with Jews unclean?

  2. Kudos to Trump on many levels, especially pulling out of money draining, redistribution efforts of the UN and now doing what others failed to do, moving our embassy to the Capitol of Israel.

Any US funds or support to the Palestinians and other hostile muslim countries must be halted.

  3. But, but but the Arabs recently agreed with the 2 state solution for now, So Israel may temporarily be allowed to exist, so stay out of Jerusalem. Also W had threatened to also make this move.

  4. If the Muslims really wanted peace, it wouldn’t make any difference. They don’t want peace, so this is a supposed to be a terrible move. I’m tired of watching this country getting sucked into this unending religious strife. Billions of dollars propping up worthless factions that have never gotten along with any other country, because the only thing that unites them is their hatred of Israel. I hope that this sets the stage for the final showdown with all these fractious fanatics.

  5. Good work Trump. I hope you don’t change your mind due to all the heat you will get from liberals (progressives, communists and muslimes). Israel is a jewish state and Jerusalem has been its capital historically. The muslimes will riot and start a war but fu#k them!

  6. This makes the ragheads blood boil, just like everything else does, of course. Fuck the raghead scum. Bravo for Trump for finally recognizing that actual civilization matters more than catering to worthless trash humanity that will never rise above the level of pond scum.

  7. Here is the funny part. The Temple was not built one of the Dome of the rock is. the Bible talks about a river of water running by the sample, there is no water on top of the mountain. the only source of water is a stream that runs close to Bethlehem. Let them do whatever they want to the Dome of the rock. It is is located in the wrong position geographically. Muzzies are to be laughed at.
