(CNSNews.com) – Turkey has informed the Trump administration that it will stop combat in Syria and will make the ceasefire brokered by the United States permanent, President Donald Trump announced Wednesday.
“I greet you this morning from the White House to announce a major breakthrough toward achieving a better future for Syria and for the Middle East. It has been a long time. Over the last five days you have seen that a cease-fire that we established along Syria’s border has held, and it’s held very well beyond most expectations,” Trump said. more here

To Muslims, a ceasefire is commonly referred to as a hudna, and is based on the Profit Mo seeking peace with the people of Huddabiya. He sought peace because he was losing the battle, he used the “ceasefire” time to build up his army so he could reengage from a position of strength. And he won. Muslim generals since have followed that strategy, seeing as how Ol’ Mo is considered the “perfect” example to emulate.
I’m betting Turkey will attack again after Trump’s TWO terms are up.
