Breitbart- President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order to empower state and local governments to remove homeless individuals from the nation’s streets.
The order, Ending Crime and Disorder on America’s Streets, directs Attorney General Pam Bondi “to reverse judicial precedents and end consent decrees” that have hindered “local governments’ ability to commit individuals on the streets who are a risk to themselves or others,” per a White House fact sheet.
According to the document, the order issues a number of other directives, including redirecting funding to make sure vagrants “causing public disorder” or who are seriously mentally ill are moved into treatment facilities: MORE
Once we deport all the IAs, we’ll have a lot of empty beds at Alligator Alcatraz, Ft. Bliss, Ft. Dix, etc. Just sayin’.
Bound to be a fight from the Left over this too. The homeless are the Left’s bread and butter! They literally created the homeless issue in order to create whole agencies with layers of beaucracy to hire cronies friends and all their relatives to make them independently wealthy behind a nice sounding lable at the over-taxed player’s expense.
It is not a coincidence that ‘the homeless problem’ begin when they shuttered the insane asylums.
Some people are not able to function due to mental issues. Cant hold a job, understand contracts, live and work with people, take care of themselves or even know how to.
It did them no favors to turn them out onto the streets…

To add to Harry and SNS – the new Trump order appears to focus on intervention, actually helping those on the streets because nobody is stepping in to help them with their psychological problems and addictions. State and local gov’ts (CA a prime example) have monetized homelessness as an opportunity to build more housing using taxpayer funds, leading them to INTENTIONALLY INCREASE the numbers of those in deep, deep pain from their problems. Absolutely horrible.
We do need intervention, which is not cheap, but will pay huge dividends (both social and financial) down the road. I don’t know how well Trump’s order will resolve the problem, but at least it addresses it head-on instead of monetizing it to the detriment of those at risk.
What “treatment facilities?”
90+ percent of them are heavy drug addicts who refuse such ‘help.’ Most are on some kind of disability or government assistance. Many are mentally ill and/or diseased in some way.
Nah. Do EVERYONE a favor and take away ALL government assistance and let nature take its course.
Governments shouldn’t be in the business of bailing people out because, (a) it has to take away resources (i.e., steal) from people to do it; and (b) we don’t know how to do it without creating a growing class of dysfunctional human beings that wreck our civilization.
If you can’t make it living some kind of productive life in this world, consider asking for some private help from someone who cares to improve your life. Or, you can always just get off the planet.
…but the problem with reinstitutionalization is that the shrinks are all lazy Democrats who no longer have any interest in, or even knowldge of how to actually TREAT mental illness. The modern “treatment” is to CELEBRATE it, tell people they must enable and facilitate the insanity, call it “stunning and brave”, and even destroy the bodies of the insane in a futile and demoic attemt to make their madness their reality.
Also. dont forget that Commies once declared not liking Communism to be a mental illness. Democrats WILL steal government back one day. Guess what the Democrat shrinks will say is insane THEN?
…but given the proclivites of current brain peepers, a mOdErN asylum would probably be a WORSE charnal house than the darkest fantasies of the “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” crowd ever imagined, a freak show where patients are drugged into submitting to bizzare sex change surgeries and sterilizing chemical regimens that would doubtlessly include whatever vaxxxines a listless and corrupt Communist government deemed profitable for themselves at any given time.
So its hard to know where to go here. You need keepers in insane asylums, but cant trust the scumbag brain butchers to run them. Maybe a litmus test of “What is a woman?” would weed out most of the evil. But no SSRIs, no hormones, and NO damm cutting off healthy tissue allowed, or the SHRINK gets HIS healthy tissue snipped as quick as he orderes it for someone else…
This suggests that the State or local governments will be interested in acting to rectify the problem
Down the road in Chico CA. they are under one of those consent decrees. A local ambulance chaser got rich getting these vagrants the run of the town. Local P.D. has to give them 72 hour notices before clearing up their garbage. The bums just move to a different area depending on the season. We refer to it as playing “Whack-A-Mole”.

Three kinds of people on the street longer term. Insane, addicted or want to be in the street. Largest cohort mental problems which crosses into and ties in with addiction, the next cohort. The smallest cohort are those who simply won’t go along with the myriad rules and nonsense society likes to toss up. Funding just enables the whole group.
Society owes assistance to the deranged and mentally disabled. It owes only suppression to the addicts, treatment and prisons. The people who just want to be there ought not be funded but ought be left alone on good behavior.
