The thing about the Left is they do not govern – they rule over society. It’s not the same thing at all. They would make us all subjects of their rule. We would not be free citizens with our own lives to govern, we would be subject to them and woe be to you if you get out of line.
They don’t know governance from a hole in the ground. They rule. That’s why socialism doesn’t work anywhere it’s tried. Socialism is just rulers and captive subjects. No government.

The main function of ‘government’ in a free republic is to prescribe the law. In that sense, those who ‘govern’ preside over the process of that prescription.
Leftists don’t even know what that is. So, no, they can not ‘govern’ (i.e., “lead,” to use the title word).

Tha couple arrested and charged with every crime they could think of in Contra Costa county CA, including civil rights violations somehow, for painting over street graffiti is the perfect example of how Leftist “lead” a country they hate:
Loot businesses, burn others to the ground, vandalize property, tear down statues and charge none because they’re part of your Marxist/Maoist revolution.
But paint over their graffiti and you’ll be doxxed, perp walked and charged with the murder of George Floyd ex post facto.
