Rangers don’t have “teams”. We do have enough today to make a regiment. Back in my time, we only had one battalion. My older brother was in that. He left there to go to Delta selection.
Ranger school for some reason is made available to officers that will never serve a day as a Ranger officer. Same deal with drop (parachute) school that gives you Airbourne “wings”. Never understood that. Yes, the school is tough, they’ve killed a fair bunch over the years at the school. But seeing that tab on an officer uniform never impressed me as much as an E-3 (Private First Class) with a 75th unit patch on his right shoulder.

When I was typing that I knew that “Teams” was the wrong description. I watched that explanation, from a pissed off Ranger on a Tic Toc video. Tic Toc is way beyond my ability to comprehend.
