When I was in an 8th grade history class (mid 1960s), our teacher told us: “We do not have the right to all the information the government has, because if we have that information, so does our enemy. That is why it is so important to elect wholesome, honest people to represent and look out for us.” I guess since that last thing about honest people is a no-go, we DO have a right to it?
