Just The News: Twenty-one people have been arrested for running a large-scale drug ring at and around the University of North Carolina, Duke University and the Appalachian State University.

Huh, and these bright brains called my university a party school.
RICO Charges… they just aren’t for mobsters anymore. Now investigate the colleges where the wealthy send their kids.
The more things change, the more they stay the same. I had a buddy back in the late 70’s-early 80’s who paid his way through college dealing coke to rich frat boys. Looks like the frat boys have cut out the middleman over the years.
Glad it was only the staff, this kind of thing could stunt a students future.
I had a room-mate who was a business major in college. He paid for his education with weed and coke. I was glad we only “roomed” one quarter.
Besides my room-mate there were two fraternities that ran the pot drug trade on campus. It was the early 80’s. The heavier stuff came from the Theater department. That was another room-mate.
I went through room-mates.
NOT surprising; the only out-of-state folk who could AFFORD tuition at DOOOK especially, WOULD be drug lords! 😳
