Two freshman Republican congressmen, both of them black, have vowed to use their new positions in the House of Representatives to fight socialism and extend the reach of conservatives.
“I understand that we’re here together at this particular time in our country’s history for a reason,” Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT), a former pro football star, recently told The Heritage Foundation’s annual President’s Club meeting.
“It is so we can make sure that we, the people, can pull back our country from this evil, dark abyss of socialism.”
Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) also addressed the President’s Club virtual event.
The President’s Club meeting, held online because of the coronavirus pandemic, featured scholars and experts from The Heritage Foundation as well as leaders in the conservative movement. more

Socialism is evil. It cannot coexist with our Constitutional Republic, and has caused more deaths than any covid including covid 19.
If these two conservative black congressmen want to be effective, ridding their communities of socialism, they will have to denounce any association with RINOs first. RINOs are just as bad, if not worse than the left.

I have never had an establishment Republican look me in the eye and tell me the truth on anything.
The cabal that runs the WSRP are completely and totally unfamiliar with the truth.
JDHasty, I hope your’re not getting the impression I think compromising with traitorous RINOs is something a Constitutional conservative like me would consider – it is not. I thought my comments reflect that position.
Leftists (of all persuasion) and RINOs are enemies of the Republic of the United States of America.
