U.S. Capitol Police Opened Investigation Into Mark Kelly Supporter Who Threatened Republican Congressman

WFB: U.S. Capitol Police are investigating a supporter of Democratic Senate candidate and gun-control advocate Mark Kelly for allegedly threatening to shoot Republican representative Paul Gosar (Ariz.).

Kelly, who is currently leading in the race against incumbent senator Martha McSally (R.), has been a vocal advocate for stricter gun laws since the 2011 assassination attempt on his wife, former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. He condemned the death threat against Gosar on Twitter on Tuesday, a week after Gosar’s office received the calls, but did not mention that the suspect was an active Kelly supporter on social media.

“I know what it means to have an act of violence committed against a member of Congress and family member,” said Kelly on Twitter. “I strongly condemn this threat against Rep. Gosar. Threats of violence like this are wrong. I’m glad Capitol Police is investigating.” more

  1. He is not a fellow American when he wants to violate my Constitutional rights, specifically the Second Amendment. I do not care if he makes noises about the Capitol Police investigating it. His 2A stance is intolerable.

Disagree? How would you like troops quartered in your house? How about a kangaroo court without a jury and being forced to testify against yourself? The BOR is a total package; not one where you just choose a few.

So, any politician that violates their oath of office to destroy our rights is a POS traitor.

  2. He has taken his Uncle Fester look-alike fandom a bit outside the line. However, since he chose to go there. He should complete the look with a light bulb in his mouth. He wouldn’t be able to say anything, and he might look a little brighter.
