U.S. drops MOAB on ISIS Camp

DC: The U.S. dropped the largest non-nuclear bomb in its arsenal on the Islamic State in Afghanistan Thursday, CNN reports.

The mission will mark the first time the bomb has been used in combat. The munition is nicknamed the “mother of all bombs” (MOAB) and weighs approximately 20,000 pounds.

  1. Tony,
My guess is this is a big, spread out tunnel complex rather than a bunker, so a MOAB could cover all the air inlets at once to suck the air out and collapse the lungs, chests etc. of the vermin within.

  2. If it vaporized anyone in the blast zone as is reported, we may never know who we got at T-minus zero. Oh well, at least some virgins up yonder were spared another night–this will not earn some goat-humper his maiden prize.

  3. Will they ever release the video from the bomb itself showing how many Islam rats were scurrying about? I assume you wouldn’t build a bomb like that which wouldn’t have a camera uploading video.

  4. You DoD guys can debate the technical fine points.

As a taxpayer, I’m happy to support this Easter Greeting, and “I approve this message.”

    America is back.
Thank you God. May we be worthy.
    Go Trump.

  5. Not sure if they were testing these things in my “backyard”, but we sure heard several series of loud percussions coming from the direction of TTR in the past weeks. Hope so. God bless the USA!!

  6. They should let out the terrible truth about how the bomb was wrapped in 5000 lbs of Bacon. This created a swine aerosol to be carried across the region. Making mush of the rats in the tunnel is a bonus.
The bomb is itself a distraction from: Operation Oink-Drop, where the feral pigs from Texas ate darted and wake up in river valleys all over the middle east.

  7. When I first heard about this I was concerned like, “Is it okay that we did this?” And then I realized that it was just the after effects of a two term Obama presidency talking. Of COURSE Trump shouldn’t have to announce it, and of course he did the right thing. Obama was so power hungry and drone bomb happy, that I was almost triggered for a second there. Man, it’s good to feel like an American again. 🙂

  8. It’s about friggin time to go after the bad guys in no uncertain terms. I’d say we targeted a whole bunch of bad guys and Yamamotoed them. A reference to the deliberate targeting and killing of Japanese Admiral Yamamoto during the Battle of Midway in World War 2. Sooner or later the muzzies are going to get the message their time is up and they can’t run or hide anymore because the new Sheriff Trump and his Deputy James Mattis are going to grease these bastards and they mean business. What’s wrong with that?

  9. OK.
What was the cost of the bomb, the mission, and all the other shit compared to 36 dead ragheads (more would have been better – say a thousand, or so?)?
Bomb probably would have been better used over Peshawar, Kabul, or Tehran.
Not trying to rain on President Trump’s victorious parade, but doesn’t anyone in DC do cost/benefit analysis? Obviously a step in the proper direction (Making America Great Again) and a direct refutation of Obola’s treasonous acts in the Middle and Far East.

  10. @Tim

You are qualified to ask the question but are you qualified to yourself to understand the answer?
Body count cost benefit analysis is only 1 part of a 3 dimensional formula.
Remember Vietnam. Only you can answer the qualification question to you.

  11. Tim’s Vermeer,
Either you have no sense of humor, or you don’t understand snark.
I am qualified (in my own mind) to both ask and answer the question, or I wouldn’t have asked.
    See how that works?
And you offer an explanation of a 3-D formula while giving a 1-D example.
    3 Unknowns, 3 Equations.
    1 Unknown, 1 Equation.
(if we conceive of variables as Dimensions – e.g. x, y, z, t, … &c. without getting into vector, tensor, and Riemann space)

But I do appreciate your input, and it has convinced me that my sense of humor is (somewhat) deficient.
