Current and former U.S. officials with dementia may pose a national security threat, according to a Pentagon-funded study that is bringing more scrutiny to aging politicians for recent apparent lapses in cognitive abilities.
Because people are living and working longer, “the workforce might experience a higher prevalence of dementia than in past generations,” the study, published by the RAND Corporation’s National Security Research Division earlier this year, states.
“Taken together, we believe that an increasing number of cleared personnel – that is, personnel who hold or have held security clearances – have or will have dementia.” more
We have a federal government chock-full of national security threats.
I’m pretty sure at this point that’s why they KEEP them.

Why do you need a study to know that people with dementia aren’t in their right mind, so take the codes away….dug. Or is it their intention to kill million of people and blame it on a demented government official. Biden is case in point.

Establishing the foundation to absolve House, Senate, Executive branch and Federal agency personnel of any criminal activities that may be a National Security threat.
Similarly to criminals who do not have the mental faculties to stand trial. Rather than Prison, they are housed in Mental Facilities.
People in government who couldn’t figure this out on their own ,without a study, are a threat to America and need to be removed.
Well, the Pentagon would say that. They don’t have that problem. All of their old generals retire early to the media, or to the boards of defense contractors, well before they get senile.
