Officials at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) David Geffen School of Medicine are blaming the school’s radical diversity agenda for an alarming drop in medical competence among students.
Under Dean of Admissions Jennifer Lucero, UCLA’s medical school has been approving race-based admissions for several years.
This divisive practice has been utilized by the school despite affirmative action being banned in California since 1996.
Lucero is a white Yale graduate who assumed the post in 2020.
She also serves as the Vice Chair of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion for the Department of Anesthesia. more

Between Government “equity” reqirements; Government takeover of medicine with Obamacare, Medicare, and Medicaid; Government agressively using its licensure authority to usurp the perogative of actually practicing medicine; Corporatized medical practices beholden to the corporation they practice in which itself is beholden to Government authority and Government payments; and the fact that the Government has forced the degradation of medical schools and the removal of standards all to placate the Golden Calf of “fairness”, medicine is now socialized in all but name, and it shows.

When DEI tells schools that their new teachers no longer need to pass basic teaching/education skills, like hiring a math teacher who doesn’t understand math, why is anyone surprised when DEI requires medical professionals be hired not based on their understanding of the human body but on the color of their skin?

Yeah, i have had enough with doctors.
I argued agsinst the COVID vaccine with mine in my last physical, and it turns out I knew more about RNA viruses and how cells use RNA (which CAN modify DNA) than he did.
And my dearly departed wife’s neurologist downplayed my wife’s need of having a healthcare directive while i was parking the car. And, he did not mention a moderate possibility of gabapentin interacting with carbidopa-levodopa in which the side effects matched her condition.
She got a lot better for a bit when we stopped the gabapentin.
When schools enacted the Common Core agenda they stopped teaching math.
