David Carey, 33, who lives with his elderly mother in Longbenton in North Tyneside, pleaded guilty to a series of charges regarding the 9,000 ‘extremely offensive’ pictures and films discovered on his computer equipment.
As well as possessing the vile library, he confessed to having distributed some of the child abuse images to others.
