Israel will not honor a UN ceasefire.
The repeated and deadly rocketing and the mass murder of Israeli citizens on October 7th is an act of deadly terrorism by Hamas.
What country would allow repeated terror acts to continue by know combatants?
Would Russia and China allow terrorists to bomb their cities and not react to protect their citizens?
No country would allow these deadly attacks.
Sovereign Countries must protect their citizens and borders, regardless of what resolution the politicized UN passes. The UN must acknowledge (unlikely) a Sovereign Country’s ability to protect itself.
And if they did pass a resolution and Israel refused to comply, what would the UN do? Send in blue helmets? Sure, blue helmets versus the Israelis. Why, that would qualify as entertainment!
So, Russia and China support taking and holding hostages?
Typical that China and Russia would block because it asks too much of the terrorist group.
That’s an outrage. Leave the UN effectively immediately.
