University Of California Schools Under Fire For Capping Number Of Americans Accepted

OAN Newsroom

The University of California school system is under fire for its decision to limit the number of U.S. students it accepts, while not placing similar restrictions on illegal immigrants.

The University of California regents recently implemented an 18-percent cap on the number of out-of-state, and international students accepted at the schools.

Critics say the move reflects their “preferential treatment” for illegal immigrants at the expense of students from the U.S.

Reports say 16.5-percent of the school system’s current student body is made up of out-of-state students.

It’s estimated around 3,700 immigrants study at the schools.

UC officials say the system is simply complying with state law.

  1. For a while we were upset because UC was accepting more out-of staters because they pay higher tuition, fewer in-staters even though the mission of the UC is to educate Californians. Seems like they just want to do everything back-asswards.

  2. Lisl–To answer your question, Yes, they excel at spending money that they don’t have on stupid free shit programs, and then taxing the crap out of the producing citizens to pay for it.
