After the redesign of USAspending.gov by the Treasury Department, they have made the website (one that is supposed to disclose all federal funds) harder to use and less accessible.
Which is a shame because organizations like the Sunshine Foundation have used the site to investigate the returns of the most active lobbyists ($4.4 trillion over six years). Being able to single out and trace specific federal spending to a specific entity is going to be a lot harder, if not impossible, for the public.
